Bactrim is a drug, containing sulfamethoxazole. Bactrim is supplied in capsules for adults, one capsule contains 0,4 g of sulfamethoxazole and 0,08 g of trimethoprim, 20 capsule pack. Indications for Bactrim.
Bactrim is used for treatment of infectious respiratory diseases, such as bronchitis, pneumonia, and etc. The drug is used for treatment of urinary tract infections: cystitis, pyelitis. Bactrim is administered for treatment of gastrointestinal infections: dysentery, paratyphoid and typhoid fevers. Instructions for taking Bactrim.
Bactrim is prescribed for internal use to the adults, 2 capsules twice a day, in the morning and in the evening after a meal. In severe cases a more intensive treatment is prescribed.
